Sha-Izwe Communications has assisted FUCHS Lubricants for the past five years with branding and marketing. The initial brief was to build the FUCHS brand through press releases and social media. As the brand developed, FUCHS saw the need for additional services such as print, online and radio adverts; SEO optimisation, Google ads; website content updating and maintenance; promo videos; and vehicle branding.

Social Media

Sha-Izwe posts on FUCHS’ social media platforms daily, showcasing new products, weekly results from racing events and general news. The strategy is to engage with FUCHS’ audience and keep the brand relevant, professional and top of mind.

Press Releases

Sha-Izwe writes and issues press releases covering new products, technical articles and news articles such as the launch of the new FUCHS R135 million grease plant. This article was published in more than 10 publications valued at about R250 000. Sha-Izwe also produced the video of the event.

Radio Advertising

A 2-month campaign on MixFM was managed from initial concept to copywriting and final production.

Social Media Ads

Social media ads target people who have visited the website based on the products they previously viewed, this is known as remarketing.

Website Maintenance

Sha-Izwe is responsible for uploading content to the website which includes press releases and news articles with the aim to continually improve SEO.

Video Marketing and Production

Sha-Izwe produces a range of videos such as FUCHS’ quarterly financial presentations – as well as promos and events.


Sha-Izwe continually works on raising FUCHS’ Google ranking on selected keywords. This includes on-website and off-website work, where external links to the website are managed, called backlinks.
